We were just reminiscing about the Retail Asia Expo and decided to see what other inspirational expos were going on in the world. Here's five worth checking out!
1. Expo 2016

This universal expo is currently hosted in Antalya, Turkey from April 22, 2016 to October 30, 2016. This year, it's an international horticultural exposition based on the theme "Flowers and Children," with its motto being "A Green Life for Future Generations." According to the Bureau of International Expositions site, the expo "aims to offer children a unique opportunity to learn about natural resources, sustainable development and ecological options." The expo is open for 6 months, with a number of national and international conferences, seminars and discussions, addressing social issues on sustainability, biodiversity and food security, including global warming and ecological farming. A number of intelligent solutions to our global environmental problems are presenting at this expo. If you're interested in sustainability or the future of our world's greenery, this is definitely an expo worth checking out.

Formerly known as the Shopper Marketing Conference & Expo, this expo will be held in Rosement, Illinois from September 20-22, 2016. Much like the Retail Asia Expo, this expo is one of the world's largest gathering spot for shoppers and retail marketing professionals alike. It's the place to be for brand manufacturers and retailers interested in "marketing to shoppers, driving retail traffic, and closing sales." There will also be symposium workshops, 50 seminars, and over 120 exhibitors with solutions and insights on retail technology, in-store media, e-commerce, POS, virtual and augmented reality, digital marketing, loyalty programs, and many more. This expo isn't just to visit booths, but an opportunity for marketers, retailers, and agency professionals to learn strategies that "influence decision-making along the path to purchase."

On June 14-16 2016, the Los Angeles Convention Centre (LACC) was flocked with another thousand gamers, entertainers, and coders, ready to indulge in new video games. The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) is an industry-only trade fair (fancy, I know) that exhibits new and upcoming games and game-related merchandise. What's different about E3 is that it's not opened to the public. As mentioned above, only those who have a connection to the video game industry is allowed to visit. For die-hard gamer fans still in school or at home eating pizza, Twitch, an official partner of the trade show, was live-streaming the entire event. If you want to get more details in what new stuff was presented, check out their highlights here. Better start networking right now for some new friends in the video game industry for a chance to check out some mind-blowing video games!

Celebrating the largest international expo for the franchise industry is the International Franchise Expo (IFE) hosted this year from June 16-18 in New York. This expo exposed hundreds of the hottest franchise concepts and opportunities, alongside a conference and educational program to learn the ins and outs of succeeding in the franchise industry. This is the best place to look for and figure out what type of franchise is best for you, and to discover what industries are rising above the ranks that you might like. Thousands of entrepreneurs and future business owners attended this year to meet face-to-face with over 400 proven franchise opportunities.
